We are currently recruiting for a Safety Officer for one of our clients in Saudi Arabia. The Safety Officer is responsible for ensuring that the contractors and consultants working on the project will comply all applicable statutory health and safety requirements, identifying shortcoming and providing guidance on these areas. The role is also responsible for providing advice and guidance to ensure smooth operation and reporting health and safety issues.

 

 

Duties Include:

 

·         Advising & assisting site management in drafting and communicating Method Statements, Safe Plans of Action and Tool Box Talks

·         Carrying out weekly inspections on site, preparing and issuing of site audit reports.

·         Carrying out weekly inspections on site, preparing and issuing of site audit reports.

·         Outline safe operational procedures which identify and take into account all relevant hazards

·         Carry out regular site inspections to check policies and procedures are being properly implemented

·         Advise on a range of specialist areas, e.g. fire regulations, hazardous substances, noise, safeguarding machinery and occupational diseases.

·         Identify and appraise conditions which could produce accidents and financial losses and evaluate the potential extent of injuries resulting from  accidents

 

 

Qualification:

 

·         Degree or diploma in engineering or HSE related field.

·         Minimum 08 years of experience in HSE related field.

·         Excellent knowledge of international HSE standards.

·         NEBOSH IGC Certified
